St. Croix

St. Croix is the largest of the beautiful US Virgin Islands with the feel of a laid back small town. Only 28 miles long by 7 miles wide at its widest point, the island offers many things to do and see. The two rum distilleries, including Cruzan Rum; founded in 1760 by the Nelthropp family (yes this Nelthropp family!), are a major source of revenue for the island. Beautiful beaches offer great snorkeling and scuba diving as well as Buck Island National Monument. Sailboat trips, jet skies and parasailing tours are all great ways to get out on the water. Scenic point Udall is the eastern most point of the United States and home to the Point Udall Millennium Monument, built in the year 2000. The rainforest and the beer drinking pig at the Domino Hut Club are not to be missed out on the west end and of downtown Christiansted is home to many locally owned, retail stores.

Nelthropp & Low is located in the Pan Am Pavilion, off Strand Street in Christiansted. Our retail shop is nestled under the historic Danish archways, framed by lush foliage and timeworn tree roots. We look forward to seeing you!
